BHS Daily Announcements

Applications for the BHS school newspaper, The Beacon, are still being accepted.  The deadline to apply has been extended to March 1st.  You can pick up an application in the Main Office or from your English teacher.  See Mrs. Russ in room 2052 if you have any questions.
Good luck to the wrestlers today as they compete in the Sectional wrestling tournament. The top 4 individuals in each weight class will qualify for the District Tournament next week. Wrestling begins tonight at 6 and continues tomorrow morning at 10.
The Model UN Club will meet after school on Friday in Mr. Schaadt's room.  It will be a brief meeting to discuss updates for the April trip to Ohio State.  
Attention Interact Club: Interact will be meeting on Tuesday, Feb 26 after school in Mrs. Kovar's room. All current and interested new members should attend. 
Students--don't forget that Best of the Beavers cards will be distributed this week during lunch.  Be sure to pick up your card and exam exemptions!
Want to wish a friend Happy Birthday or send someone a message to cheer him or her up?  The BHS school newspaper, The Beacon, has just the thing for you!  We are selling helium balloons in three different designs every week through the end of the year.  The cost is $2, and balloons will be delivered on Fridays during 7th period.  Stop by room 2050 by Wednesday of each week to place your order.  
For all students interested in traveling to France this summer, it is not too late to sign up but the deadline is quickly approaching! Stop by to see Madame Spence in room 0118 to get more information on how to enroll. Come join us as we explore Paris, Normandy and some real French châteaux! oui, oui!
The French Club will have its next meeting to celebrate Mardi Gras on Thursday, February 28th. Join us after school to play more telephone Pictionary or make masks and eat some king cake.
