BHS Daily Announcements

It's time again for the annual BHS writing contest.  If you would like to see how your short story and/or poetry stacks up against the work of fellow BHS students, then you need to enter the 7th annual competition sponsored by the BHS literary magazine, Writer's Corner.  See your English teacher or Mrs. Russ in room 2052 for more information.  The deadline is less than two weeks away, April 29th.  There is also a staff category, so get your teachers to enter too!

Tickets go on sale on Tuesday, April 16th, for the BHS Spring Musical "Mamma Mia!" Tickets will be sold at lunch in the commons. The performance will take place on Thursday, April 25th, periods 1-3. Cost is $5.

Again, Seniors! (Attn Seniors:) Do you have a talented bone in your body? Show it off before the end of high school! Senior Talent Show audition sign-ups will be open until Thursday, April 18th. They will be posted outside of Mrs. Webb's room. If you have any questions, please see a class officer, Mrs. Webb, or Mrs. Haacke.
The Spanish Club will meet Thursday, April 18 from 3-4 p.m. in room 0122. We will be celebrating Pascuas.
The French Club is collecting orders for the annual luncheon to the Wellington Grille which will be Thursday, April 18th during 4th and 5th periods. Stop by Madame Spence's room to pick up a menu and select your lunch options. Your menu and $25 dollars is due by this Friday! Bon appétit!
Please join us for the first ever Friends Show Choir and All-Star Dance Team in school performance! Both of these award-winning groups will perform their competition shows for you on April 18th during 3rd-period. Tickets are free but you need to sign up and get one at lunch next week and are first come, first serve. Seniors will be able to get their tickets on Tuesday, April 9 juniors on Wednesday, April 10 and sophomores on Thursday, April 11 with the remaining tickets distributed on Friday, April 12. This is a show you won’t want to miss so be sure to get your free ticket next week at lunch and if you have questions see Kiera Mills, Tyler Brown, Kaitlin Sandru or Elyse Schmidt.
