The Greene Optimist club is hosting an Oratorical Contest as well as an Essay Contest. There will be scholarships available for winners at each level of the competitions. The theme for the oratorical contest is “Is There a Fine Line Between Optimism and Reality?” The theme for the essay contest is, “When All the World’s Problems are Solved, is Optimism Still Necessary?” If you are interested in giving a speech or submitting an essay, applications are available in the guidance office. Electronic copies and application deadlines are available on Mrs. Reidenbaugh's website. All applications must be turned into Mrs. Reidenbaugh in room 1036 by Friday, February 1st.
Spanish Club will meet Thursday, January 24 in room 0122 from 3-4 p.m. We will be playing Spanish board games and singing karaoke. Come join the fun!

Attention all French Club members, the next French Club meeting will be January 24th and the theme is French board and card games. Come learn some game vocabulary and relax with friends while playing a game, including French classics such as Mille Bornes or even learn something new like the French National card game Belote. Light snacks will be provided.
